“Rebekah’s Retreat is the perfect environment for adults with memory/dementia issues. Being set in a private home instead of an institutional setting makes it feel more like a day of fun activities instead of a daycare. Rebekah and her staff truly care about their “new friends” and their families. The day is filled with a variety of activities. Rebekah learns about her “new friends “ and sometimes the activities are geared towards their background. One week they talked about each friend’s home state and were presented fun facts about those states. They listen to music favorites of the friends. They enjoy preparing easy to make yummy treats. Rebekah’s Retreat has been a real Godsend for me and my loved one. I have peace of mind that he’s in a good, caring environment having a wonderful experience, and I have time to decompress from the stress of caring for a loved one who has dementia.
