Everything you need to know about Rebekah’s Retreat

  • What are your hours of operation and days open? Monday - Friday, 8:30am-3:30pm

  • What is the cost per day? The cost per day is $110.

  • Is there a minimum number of days per week required? I require a 2 day minimum week

  • Are you licensed and insured? Yes, I am licensed by the State of California and I hold business liability insurance.

  • How many guests do you care for each day? My license is for 14 in my home, and the State ratio is 1:8 though each person will be evaluated for a group setting to assess how many staff is needed.

  • Where are you located? Rebekah’s Retreat is located in a private home near Mankas Park in Fairfield, creating a calm, familiar environment that feels safe and welcoming — never institutional.

  • Can families tour before enrolling? Absolutely! Please contact me (707) 803-1297 to schedule your tour. You can call or text.

  • Can family members visit during the day? Absolutely — I welcome family to visit anytime.

  • Are meals provided? Yes I provide a light snack and a lunch every day. We will cover any dietary restrictions before admission to the program.

  • Can my loved one experience a trial day before we commit? Yes, I offer two short trial days. This allows your family and your loved one to see if the program is a good fit, and allows me to assess if the client is a good fit for the program.

  • Do you provide medication administration? No — my license is for a social day program, not a medical day program. Therefore I am unable to administer medications. I encourage each family to work with their neurologist and PCP to find the right timing of medications in order to attend the program.

  • Is it selfish for me to need a break? No. It’s not selfish — it’s necessary. Caregiving is exhausting, even when it’s done with love. Taking a break allows you to rest, reset, and continue caring well. Respite isn’t giving up — it’s refueling
